Plantar Fasciitis
Shortly after my daughter's birth my right foot arch started to ache. Particularly in the early morning hours when I hobbled out of bed for nursing and then a potty break. Little did I know that this pain would continue and worsen until today. That's about 8 weeks. And boy does it hurt.
I'm not going to get all clinical on you, but the basic cure is foot stretches. And my time to do this? Limited. But since yesterday I was finally hobbling to the point of limping my way into the doctor's office (yes, I am one of those women where I nag every one else to see a doctor and don't go see one myself until I am near death. Or in this case terrible tearing-up pain). And there I was diagnosed, officially, with the planta fasciitis thing.
I've also been told that nice, hot baths can help for the pain. So, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to use that excuse right now. The whole, hey Husband, watch the kids. I'm in terrible pain. I need to take a bath. With bubbles. Candles. Oh and peace and quiet, so that my foot can feel better.
