Three Words
Grumpy.
The day just hasn't gone right. Not particularly wrong necessarily either. Just not smoothly. And I swear it started when I had to get up at 4 am to go potty. You know the pregnancy bathroom break every three hours? Yeah. That.
Agitated.
As I moved through the day it honestly didn't get better. And it's what--5pm? The day is almost over and I accomplished the following: responded to (too many) hasty e-mail messages, returned phone calls, resolved at least 4 hot project items, postponed a ridiculous deadline, and managed to create screens for software that has yet to exist (I'm a miracle worker, I know).
Relieved.
The day is almost over right? And (knock on virtual wood. As in trees. Please get your head out of the gutter) it can't get worse, can it? The good news is the kiddo had Water Day at school. He'll be tuckered out when I go get him in about 15 minutes. And maybe, just maybe, that will mean I can get some writing done tonight when I get home. Maybe. If dinner cooks itself and the laundry I left in the dryer finds its way to our closet.
