Cleansing the Palette
Anyway, not only did I get my e-mail inbox down to a manageable level, I've just finished all my pressing work projects (and anyone that knows anything will tell you, there are ALWAYS work projects). I also did laundry (completely except for the clothes on my back). Not only did all 8+ loads get done, they are folded too! You can really tell I was on a mission now...
I also managed to blog (this very post), write some more in novel two, e-mail my agent, pay bills that have kept piling up around here (another thing that, no matter how hard one tries, always happens), dishes, vacuumed, and oh, at least 15 other odds and ends that have been hanging around and causing me to stress. It's amazing what an almost empty to-do list can make one feel like. Wait. Did I say new woman?
Not really, the pregnancy is sorta catching up with me. All this energy I am exuding to get all the normal business done, is falling hard when it hits 8pm. I, literally, fall into my bed. Or the next closest thing the couch.
Anyway, if you're buried. Give it a go. Cleansing the whole palette and whole mind thing can really do wonders. At least if you are a list maker like me. And one that is responsible for paying bills, getting food in the cabinets and refrigerator, and say a day job. It can do wonders for one's sense of accomplishment. Really.
