Awkwardness and Decisions

Thursday, November 17, 2005 by Bethany

So things are kinda awkward right now. The husband and I are considering a major life change. I wish I could tell you--but, well, I can't. Mostly because the decision isn't made yet and we don't like getting too many outside opinions. And secondly because there is a possibility family members and or employers read this site--and we aren't ready to discuss it yet. BECAUSE, we don't know what is going to happened YET.

We call this the grapple-stage in our house. We call each other every five seconds throughout the day or wake each other up in the middle of the night to throw out a concern or an idea and see if it sticks in our heads as being logical or right. And then we discuss and go on about our regularly scheduled business. Then, I'll freak over a detail and we start over tossing ideas into the air and see what lands upright for further discussion. And it continues until we make THE decision and decide to tell the rest of the world.

So for now, dear Internet, you will only know that there is a lingering possibility of a change in my life. When and if this happens--YOU'LL KNOW--cause God only knows how I won't be able to keep it quiet. But for now, I must leave you in the dark, so we can rattle on about it in person and decide the best course of action for our family. Okay?

Suzanne, nope, that's not it. However, after the few flurries we've seen here in Chicagoland-- I could use some sun. :-)
